This original composition was written for a special student at the time of her high school graduation. People enter our lives, and exit.  Our interactions, no matter how seemingly insignificant or fleeting, change each other.  We are blessed to know those whose magnetic personalities bring a smile to our face long after they have moved on.  Ripples uses a combination of a melodic theme and a minimalistic fast-pasted middle section that makes quick sixteenth note patterns accessible to the growing musician's fingers.  I hope you will enjoy this fun and moving piece as much as my students have.
